Perform multi-step synthesis/analysis of analogs of nucleosides, various phosphorylated derivatives, derived oligonucleotides and functional oligonucleotides on intermediate to large scale, to support the development of diagnostics and research tools. Requires Ph.D. Chemistry with at least 2 years of experience doing nucleic acid chemistry, analyzing duplex formation in nucleic acid analogs, and multi-step synthesis of nucleosides and their analogs.
